Digital Services
All of your digital imaging needs can be handled by Alana's Fine Art Photography. Offering scanning and retouching services. Digital printing services can also be arranged. A Digital Archive CD of your images can be produced, enabling you to access your files easily for future reference. Also, allowing you to view your images and advise me of any editing requirements.
Schedule
Your schedule is important to me. I will coordinate your photo sessions at a time that is most convenient for you. Whether it be evening hours or weekends, I will ensure that your daily business activities are not interrupted.
Rates
As every shoot is different, and requires different preparation please contact us for an estimate specific to your needs.
Full day shoot ($750 - 6 hours)
Includes custom retouching of 100 high-resolution images of your choice and all proofs placed online, usually 400 or more to choose from. Final images delivered on a DVD or CD. *Printing services and licensing fees separate.
Half day shoot ($400 - 4 hours )
Includes custom retouching of 50 high-resolution images of your choice and all proofs placed online, usually 125 or more to choose from. Final images delivered on a DVD or CD. *Printing services and licensing fees separate.
Mini Shoot ($200 2 - hours)
Includes custom retouching of 25 high-resolution images of your choice and all proofs placed online usually 50 or more to choose from. Final images delivered on a DVD or CD. *Printing services and licensing fees separate.
Business Portrait shoot ($100 - 1 hour)
Includes custom retouching of 20 high-resolution images of your choice and all proofs placed online. *Printing services and licensing fees separate.
Photoshop Retouching ($30 per hour)
Professional retouching and creating digital art images and more.
*All other photography work is billed at $35 per hour.
Basic fees for licensing will also be quoted according to use per photo.
The rate quoted is for "Single Use Fee" non-exclusive media usage for a "Single Image" used unless other wise stated. The above rates does NOT include any expenses, such as assistants, film, processing, couriers, travel, models, props, stylists, producers, or anything other than the creative fees. And will be quoted separately.
Licensing
For pricing purposes the following information is necessary.
How long will the image be used or displayed
How large the image will be as part of the spaces in which it is published
Intended Audience i.e. local, national, international
If on-line, is the photo on the main page, further into the site, or an ad on someone else's site
Type of use: Editorial, Advertising, corporate, or personal, etc.
Potential uses by you later
How may pieces i.e. press run or circulation
Print-only, electronic-only, or both
Once I receive the details about exactly how you would use the image(s), what rights are purchased, I will deliver an estimate that will encompass the fees and paperwork that needs to be completed.
If you wish to maximize your use of the images, I urge you to consider the variety of uses you might have for the image beyond your immediate need. By purchasing the right to use the image in a brochure AND an Annual Report at the same time, you can save because you are licensing the rights to the images for multiple uses. If, after a use has been requested, different uses arise, the fees will not be as low as a package would have been initially. When you are gathering the information necessary for us to provide you with an exact quote, please consider other uses.

Please also include a short description of the subject(s) to be photographed, any ideas you may have, how many images you require, and the intended use of the final image(s).
Usage
Factors which affect the fees for usage are: 1) How long
will the image be used or displayed, 2) how big will the image be as a part of the space in which it is published, 3) how many pieces are printed (i.e. press run or circulation), 4) how much it cost us to create the image initially, and 5) whether the audience which will see the image(s) is of a local, national, or global viewer ship.

Stock
Images from stock should cost less than an image that was assigned to be created. In reality, an existing image licensing fee isn't worth less than an assignment. You can select the exact image that you want. You are just not paying for the production expenses. There is no risk that the shot won't be exactly what you want. There is no art direction, and you can have it immediately.
