Your Session What to Expect
My time with you will never be rushed, but the time in front of the camera I do try to limit. I use a relaxed approach to capture your family memories in a beautiful piece of photographic art. The typical session will last about thirty minutes and up to hour but we could spend about 2 hours together. My goal is to create fine art portraits. I will have fun with you and your children and before you know it we will be able to capture your child's true little personality, and children are encouraged to play.
One of my commitments is to capture the personality of your family and the loving relationship you share and bringing a smile to your families face when you see your family member captured in a stunning portrait. Great photography doesn't just happen it its planed and created.
I want to let your individual character in a beautiful yet honest way show through- creating unique images with emotion and impact that will last a lifetime. It is essential that my shoots are relaxed and real, in a setting that allows you to feel comfortable and be yourself. Whether in the studio or in an outdoor setting we will work together to choose the right location. This may mean starting at home exploring the local parks, fields, and woods or might even mean a drive to the coast! Please visit the online Gallery to view examples of my photography.
I'm passionate about what I do and I strive to give you something totally individual. I do not have a set formula for each session I like to let each shoot evolve naturally. I'll do my very best to provide a great experience, fantastic service and photography that looks and feels like a piece of art.
For on location photography I like to work in the early mornings or late in the evenings, I find these times to have the best light, but I can choose a location for anytime of the day. Please note that session retainers are non-refundable, but transferable in case of bad weather for any outside and on location sessions.
To have a successful portraits session it is important for us to discus the session. We do this at what I call the design consultation lets meet and plan your artistic session.
The Design Consultation: First Answer a few questions. What do you need? Wall art for your home? an Album or both? We will talk about clothing options, backgrounds, location, and what the end goal is for you and your family. This is booked a month or two before your portrait session.

Booking your session:
Fine Art Portrait Sessions are all done by appointment:
I normally book sessions about three - six weeks out. Please note: session retainers are non-refundable, but transferable in case of bad weather for any outside and on location sessions.
About two weeks after the portrait session you will come back to the studio we will sit down to view the images. I call this the viewing and ordering session. This is when you will place your order. Please have all people attend who are making the decisions attend this session.
I will give you personal assistance with creating custom art, wall concepts specifically for your home or office decor.
You will have options to choose from and I'll guide you through each step of the ordering process. Weather you are looking for specialty gifting items, wall portraiture, custom storytelling books, greeting or holiday cards, or framed fine art prints.
See the difference. We will also discuss the level of retouching that you like. Click here for a before and after images of the retouching that I offer. I do all of my own retouching so I have control over the finished creative process. To book your design consult today please email me.
I look forward to creating art for your home or office.
